I know, I know, more than half of you must be like, ‘Strobing is highlighting, duh.’ Well, yes. That’s true, however highlighting normally goes along with contouring and often when we talk about ‘highlighting’ it kinda means highlighting and contouring. No? So, what do we call highlighting alone? That's right, it's called Strobing. Don’t worry, there’s no need to make too much sense out of this but ya’all certainly need to know how it's done and why you should try it at least once.

You can use powder or stick illuminator depending on your skin type to highlight your strongest features. But make sure not to overdo it.
Lightly swipe some highlighter on the bridge of your nose, brow bones, inner corner of your eyes, the tip of your nose, cupid’s bow, chin and most importantly your cheek bones.
It is ideal for all skin type and tone especially, olive to dark skin tone.
You can use a clean brush your ring finger to apply the highlighter lightly.
Strobing works without contouring and naturally makes the face look slim and dewy. Applying highlighter without contouring makes strobing perfect for everyday makeup so long as you strobe moderately.
