1. Shampoo Three Times a Week
When it comes to applying hair products and chemicals, less is better. Try to shampoo your hair as less frequently as possible. Washing your hair everyday is a BIG no as it will dry your hair and make them weaker by the day.
2. Tie Your Hair Before You Go to Bed
Don't make the mistake of sleeping with your hair loose else you will wake up and find hair all over your bed. Rather, tie your hair up in a loose bun or braid to avoid them from breaking. Open hair also tend to tangle when you sleep and as a result yor loose more hair while brushing in the morning.
3. Brush Your Hair Once A Day
Unless you have a party to go to, brush your hair only once a day. Brushing them several times a day will make then weak and prone to breakage.
5. Keep Your Hair Away From Hot Equipments
Yes, I know... We girls cannot stay without out beloved straighteners, curling iron and hair dryers but all I'm saying is..use them as less as possible.
6. Oil Therapy & Massage
Apply hair oil atleast twice a week and massage your head. This increases the blood circulation and helps in hair growth. Coconut, almond and olive oil is said to be the best to promote shiny and strong hair.
7. Trim Your Hair Every Month
Please don't really let someone trim your tresses like Rapunzel's.
Trim your hair at least once every month as it helps get rid of split ends and promotes hair to grow longer and stronger.

8. Avoid Washing Your Hair With Hot Water
Washing your hair with hot water will make them weak and prone to breakage. Your hair will be in best shape if you wash them with luke warm water.
9. Eat Lots of Greens
It's not just a myth, believe me eating green vegetables will improve your hair texture within weeks if you eat the appropriate amount. There's no rule or pattern that you need to follow here, just pick a vegetable every two hours and have it however you like, raw or boiled. The best greens to promote healthy hair is spinach, celery, cucumber and broccoli.
10. Follow a Healthy and Regular Bedtime Routine
And last but certainly not the least, follow a regular bedtime routine. Your hair need to rest too and more importantly, if you don't get a proper sleep, you end up getting stressed and your body starts acting differently which in turn can affect your hair growth. So follow a healthy bed cycle every day. Sleep on time, make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday and when you do, sleep like a baby.
